More Kids, Virtual Golf & Volleyball Players Heading to Honduras

God is on the move in Honduras — and the need is growing. Here’s what’s happening on the ground and how you can be part of it.

New Sponsorships Needed

Thank you for your support! We now have 6 NEW Sponsors! We are almost to our goal of having one sponsor for each child in our center. We still need 8 more sponsorships at our current center.

On May 1st, we will add 15 additional kids that will all need sponsored. This is an additional location up on the Mountain of the Flower. There is another church that our Burem team helped with, that will host 15 highly impoverished kiddos. We need your help to get all of these kids sponsored. They are barely getting one meal a day right now without the center.

God is most definitely on the move, and we couldn’t be more excited. He has shown us the need is great — but He is so faithful.

Children Currently Needing Sponsors

Each of these children is waiting for someone to say yes. A monthly sponsorship provides daily nutritious meals and Bible class.

• Nelson Eduardo Martinez (b. June 13, 2019) — A sweet, funny, active little boy living in a stick-and-dirt home. Facing severe poverty and malnutrition.
• Sara Yulissa Martinez (b. Dec 11, 2017) — A sweet, shy girl in the same community. Stick-and-dirt home. Poverty and malnutrition.
• Sarahi Meijia Martinez (b. Feb 12, 2013) — A kind girl being raised by a single mother. Struggling with malnutrition.
• Yeison Asael Martinez (b. April 9, 2018) — A sweet, playful boy whose parents work hard planting food — but the seasons take their crops. Food is always a worry.

EMU Volleyball Players Heading to Honduras

We have a team of 7 going to Honduras this coming Saturday. Four of them are volleyball players at Eastern Michigan University. We will be doing vitamin distributions, playing with the kids from Langue and putting in a new floor at a house.

This team is still looking for donations to help cover the trip costs. If you feel led, please donate online and put EMU Trip in the notes. Every $20 donation is so helpful. Please keep this team in your prayers as they travel and serve the people of Honduras.

Virtual Golf Outing — August 8th

Join us for some FUN and virtual golf on August 8th, 5:00–8:00 PM at Urban Golf in downtown Fort Wayne. Get your foursome together OR just sign up and we will assign you to a team. There will be food, fun and prizes! We only have 64 spots available.

2026 Mission Trip Schedule

We would love to have you join us for one of our mission trips in 2026. By stretching out of your comfort zone you open yourself up to the opportunity God has waiting for you to be His hands and feet. All trips are $800 to cover all in-country costs plus airfare (typically $1,400–$1,800 total).

May 2–7	Trip 1
June 26–July 2	Trip 2
July 27–August 1	Trip 3 — closes April 30th
September 5–11	Trip 4
November 7–13	Trip 5

How we serve: vitamin distributions, visiting feeding centers, project work, and Vacation Bible School. Trips run Friday to Friday, require a minimum of 10 travelers.
