1. Our NFC Technology: What You Need to Know

Our NFC (Near Field Communication) tags DO NOT track you.

The NFC tags sewn into Emunah Apparel patches are passive, read-only chips. They do not have batteries, they do not emit a signal on their own, and they do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, location data, or usage metrics from your device.

When you tap your phone to an Emunah patch, the NFC tag simply acts as a physical link — it tells your phone’s browser to open a specific URL on our website to display your Scripture or Affirmation page. That is its only function. Any data collected during your visit to that page is governed by the standard website practices outlined below, not by the physical patch itself.

2. Information We Collect

When you interact with Emunah Apparel, we may collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Contact & Identity Data: First name, last name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and phone number (including mobile numbers provided for SMS updates).
  • Financial Data: Payment card details are collected directly by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.

  • Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and explicitly opting in to our SMS program at checkout or via a signup form, you consent to receive recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages (e.g., cart reminders, content updates, new drops) from Emunah Apparel at the number you provide.
  • Condition of Purchase: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency will vary. You may receive transactional messages as they occur, and marketing messages no more than a few times per month.
  • Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opting Out: Text STOP to the number we use to text you at any time. After you send STOP, we will confirm your unsubscription and you will receive no further messages. To re-subscribe, sign up again as you did the first time.

  • Privacy of Phone Numbers: We will not share or sell your mobile phone number to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent, except as required by law or to service providers executing our SMS campaigns on our behalf.
